This is the story of a woman who sells her house and lives in an RV for 3 years. She parks primarily in WalMart parking lots up and down the eastern seaboard. There were a lot of bleak times times in the narrative. Lots of things go wrong with the RV, money is very tight, and the author never seems to find any joy in what she's doing. I hoped I'd find a travel book about people who traveled the US and used WalMart parking lots as way stations between parks, but that's not the case. This is more about leaving your old life behind and not necessarily finding a better one.
